Customer's Fault Description
Buttons are working properly and controller has become loose in places.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This cooker hood controller arrived safely from London and on inepction the battery tracy was forced in the remote upside down.
This was removed and refitted but the remote was dead.
On opening, both battery terminals were deformed out of position (see image, this is done when the battery is inserted upside down). Both terminals were resoldered back into the correct position and the brown tape remove from the button array.
Full functionality was restored.
