Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely and on inspection the back case was cracked and the remote rattled when shook.
The remote was dead, this was due to corrosion on the battery terminals, when they were etched clean the remote powered up but the display was half illuminated and the buttons were erratic.
The remote was opened (3 of the mounting screw holes were broken) and the issue was found to be due to the display being faulty.
A replacement screen was fitted which restored full functionality. A replacement back was fitted and the remote then cleaned.
