Customer's Fault Description
The remote started to take several attempts at pressing the button each time to work but now doesn’t work at all. It’s definitely the remote and not the machine. I’ve tried to change the battery and this doesn’t seem to work. The remote is the same as one displayed on your website. Thank you.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Bigzzia Treadmill Remote Control arrived safely from Trowbridge and on testing was found ot be dead. The battery inside was totally drained. When a replaceemtn battery was fitted it was found to drain very quickly. This was found to be due to he internal battery terminals shorting out effectively short circuiting the battery.
The terminals were reworked using solder mask. When re-tested full functionality was restored.
A replacement energizer battery will be supplied fitted on return, its important to note that any battery that has previously been inside this remote will have been drained whilst the remote was faulty.
