Marantz RC011CR Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : There was a battery leak. The area has been cleaned but none of the buttons are working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This CD Receiver remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on all buttons as per normal operation.
There was a small amount of surface rust on one of the terminals which "might" have caused an issue, this was etched clean.
The remote was tested over a 3 day period at random intervals with no fault being replicated.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
