Valor Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote very intermittent, sometimes works, sometimes does not. Contacted you by email at the beginning of April
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Valor Electric fire (Model 840) remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have "sticky" buttons whereby the buttons would randomly stick within the housing causing it to drain the batteries.
The remote was opened and the PCB cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads glued under each button.
When re-tested the issue of the sticking buttons was resolved.
