Velux Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Velux

Customers Fault Description : Doesn't switch on with battery (though switch on when connected through usb). Look like because of previous batteries leak

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Velux remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead when powered on from the batteries.

This was due to corroded battery terminals from a battery leak, the terminals were replaced which restored full functionality.
