PDT KF04-433RC Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The Key Fob just stopped working - LED on transmitter does not light when buttons pressed. The Key Fob worked with a garage door control unit: PDT type RF02 / RF03, with a red push button on the underside. The distributor code for this control unit is RF02L-GARX2-SWS.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This garage fob arrived safely and on inspection the battery compartment was found to have a small amount of sticky contamination, this was see through and resembled the "sick strip" material from Duracell batteries. The terminals were cleaned up and then when tested was found to function as normal.
AS set of CR2016 Batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
Its important to not use Duracell batteries in these remotes as they can cause issues.
