Customers Fault Description : These are the original remote and receiver for the gas fire. This receiver failed and I bought another and this has now failed. The remote is original and has worked with both receivers. Did the same as last time- would turn the fire up but not all the way down so assuming its the receiver again. Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Gas Fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to not transmit on the down channel. This was due to a faulty transducer in the handset itself.
The transducer was replaced which restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the receiver.
