Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Red light does not come on, battery not connected

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This fireplace remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.  The battery clip had signs of a battery leak / corrosion.

A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
