Unable to start fire using remote, The fire does start when operating the manual controls on the fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press but the code being transmitted as scrambled.
The oscillator and IR led were replaced but the issue remained. It was then concluded that the issue was the main IC which sadly is encased under a black blob of resin which makes a repair not possible.
