Customer's Fault Description
Not functioning at all. No signs of external damage/battery leak. No beam when tested with camera.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Sony CD Player remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead. Unfortunately when opened the entire PCB was covered in corrosion from a battery leak (see image). Due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
