Sony RM-DX455 Remote Repair Details

Model : RM-DX455

Customers Fault Description : Not functioning at all. No signs of external damage/battery leak. No beam when tested with camera.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Sony CD Player remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.  Unfortunately when opened the entire PCB was covered in corrosion from a battery leak (see image). Due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.

This item was disposed of as per the customers email request 29th Jun 2024
