Westin RC001 Remote Repair Details

Model : RC001
Customers Fault Description : The remote control will switch the extractor fan lights on but will not power the extractor fan itself. The battery was replaced but the situation described above remains the same.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Overhead kitchen extractor fan remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal.
The codeset being transmitted was also confirmed to be consistent with this model of remote.
It is possible that the remote required pairing with the cooked hood again, for details on how this can be done please see the instructional video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmyOLsVDK7k
Hopefully the pairing will sort the issue, failing that it might be the receiver / cooker hood at fault.
