Customer's Fault Description
Intermittent fault in operation poss due to outer flex casing gone/excess flexing on entry point to handset.
Undid & replaced 4 screws - went no further - outer flexible grey surround trim not replaced & sent with the handset.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable and also worn button contacts.
A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons.
