Customer's Fault Description
Control to turn fire on (press small button on bottom left and top button on right) fails to turn fire on/open gas valve on fire, remote still works to turn flame down however. Fire engineer advised that the remote was the issue.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as per normal operation. The up channel activates our test receiver when pressing the bottom left safety button and the up button at the same time as normal (see image) and the down button also activates our test receiver.
The remote was tested over a 3 day period at random intervals with no fault being replicated.
It is thought that the issue is actually with the receiver itself as we cannot replicate a fault with the remote.
