Sometimes it works sometimes isn’t.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged battery cable and also the ribbon connector for the button facia had corrosion spots. Unfortunately the ribbon edge connection was too short to cut back which is the usual solution.
Instead a replacement case / button facia was fitted as one was available from a scrap remote. The battery cable was then replaced.
Full functionality was restored.
