when the buttons are pressed the function lights comes on but the unit in the fire does not work, i have had the receiver unit in the fire checked and it works so it is a handset fault
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This gas fire remote handset arrived safely and on testing was found to not transmit a signal.

This was due to a faulty transducer, the transducer was replaced which restored full functionality.
