Some buttons just don’t work
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Onkyo AV Receiver remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have many non functioning buttons.

The conductive pads of the button array were found to be "sticky" from contamination, it would appear that the remote has suffered a liquid contamination and a clean attempt carried out.

The button pads were all cleared fully which restored full functionality to the vast majority of buttons, some buttons were found to be sluggish.  This was due to the contamination deteriorating the contact.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under all of the effected buttons.

Full functionality weas restored.,
