Lazy Boy Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer
Lazy Boy
Customer's Fault Description
When I switch the lazy boy on it just starts vibrating and the only buttons that work are the different massaging options. It doesn’t allow you to switch massaging off and none of the reclining buttons work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Lazy Boy Gizmo remote control arrived safely and on inspection the cable was damaged at the remote entry point and also a couple of the buttons had started to decompose and contaminate the PCB (see image).
The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the break and then the PCB cleared of contaminants. Replacement conductive pads were then glued under the effected buttons.
