Heki 4 caravan rooflight Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Heki 4
Model : caravan rooflight
Customers Fault Description : No function from any of 4 buttons - our second remote operates the rooflight just fine. Tried re- pairing, unsuccessful. Batteries new, voltages ok. Tested buttons with multi meter, all work ok. No apparent broken wires or dry solder joints. No corrosion.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This rooflight remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have intermittent button response. This was due to a tiny crack the print trace causing and intermittent open circuit.
The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
