Customer's Fault Description
No function from any of 4 buttons - our second remote operates the rooflight just fine. Tried re- pairing, unsuccessful. Batteries new, voltages ok. Tested buttons with multi meter, all work ok. No apparent broken wires or dry solder joints. No corrosion.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This rooflight remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have intermittent button response. This was due to a tiny crack the print trace causing and intermittent open circuit.
The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
