Customers Fault Description : None of the functions work!

This Electric fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
This was due to a deformed battery terminal. This happens when the battery is inserted upside down which forces the terminal in the way of its counterpart.
The terminal was reworked which restored full functionality.
