Customer's Fault Description
Buttons not working. Only 1 button works - Temperature minus button. All other buttons feel different to the working button. The working button has a click and the others feel soft
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This B&Q (WAP-020EC) Air Conditioner Remote Control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have only one responsive button.

The battery compartment had signs of a battery leak.  The pins to the main IC were re-flowed and then replacement conductive caps fitted under each button.  Full functionality was restored.
