TriStar VE5817 Ceiling Fan - AA3 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : No infrared signal being sent from remote
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This AA3 Ceiling Fan remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit without any button being pressed when moved around. The signal being transmitted was garbled and of no use.
Unfortunately this was due to the main IC breaking down internally. This IC is unidentifiable meaning a repair was not possible.
We do have a clone available that has 7 of the button replicated. Please see below for an image of this clone in relation to the original.
