Customer's Fault Description
Remote does not work in cold conditions. Screen goes blank
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Remote and responder arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to have erratic functionality.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a battery cable inner core being intermittently shorting. This was creating a loss of power which dimmed the display.
The battery cable was replaced and then the PCB cleared of all contaminants.
The remote and receiver were then tested over a 3 day period at random intervals with no issues being replicated.
