Hunter Herald 6 Mk 11 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote does not work in cold conditions. Screen goes blank
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Remote and responder arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to have erratic functionality.
On opening the issue was found to be due to a battery cable inner core being intermittently shorting. This was creating a loss of power which dimmed the display.
The battery cable was replaced and then the PCB cleared of all contaminants.
The remote and receiver were then tested over a 3 day period at random intervals with no issues being replicated.
