Customer's Fault Description
This remote has been working intermittently by rolling the battery slowly at the back whilst pressing the button until the green light activates and lifts the door. the remote is d66 793 Saarwellingen 418mhz MPT 1340. this method is no longer working. we have an internal garage wall button which is not easy to access.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door lifter remote control arrived safely and on inspectio nthe battery cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was found to be dead. it tapped the remote would intermittently illuminate when pressing the button.
This was found to be due to cracked solder joints on the LED. The solder was re-flowed which restored full functionality (See image)
