Mertik Maxitrol G6R Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Mertik Maxitrol

Model : G6R

Customers Fault Description : when a battery is put into the remote,. the red indicator LED on the remote is solid on. It doesn't trigger the fire either.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit a signal without any button being pressed.

This was due to a short circuit button. Two of the buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
