Customer's Fault Description
when a battery is put into the remote,. the red indicator LED on the remote is solid on. It doesn't trigger the fire either.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit a signal without any button being pressed.

This was due to a short circuit button. Two of the buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
