Customer's Fault Description
The remote stopped working. Replaced the battery but no lights on the remote come on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control for a cooker hood arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
When opened this was due to he PCB being misaligned due to a broken mounting pin. This effectively made the buttons non pressable.
The PCB was hot glued into place which restored full functionality.
