Powrtouch Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Powrtouch
Customers Fault Description : The remote takes a long time to power up when pressing and holding the power buttons together. Sometimes it doesn't come on at all and I have to make multiple efforts to get it to come on. There are no issues once it's on, and it switches back off with no problem. I've tried new batteries etc but there is no change, and it previously worked OK, powering up instantly when both power buttons were pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Motor Mover remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have a sluggish power on response to its twin power button press.
This was due to worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued under both of the power buttons which restored full functionality.
