Easydriver Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Easydriver
Customers Fault Description : Unit is very difficult to get to come on and when it does, it goes off randomly. Any change of direction when it does work, makes the unit go off. This makes moving the caravan a very long and difficult operation. New batteries have been put in controller. The caravan battery is also new and is fully charged as on trickle charge.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Caravan remote control unit arrived safely and on testing was found to power down when moved.
This was due to extremely loose battery terminals. The terminals were replaced with stronger sprung terminals which restored full functionality.
