SONY Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : SONY

Customers Fault Description : ON/OFF BOTTON PERFORMS ERRATICALLY ENTERING STATON NOS. ALSO NOW UNRELIABLE/IMPOSSIBLE.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Sony remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have numerous non functioning buttons.

This was due to cracked solder joints on the main IC.  The solder was reflowed which restored full functionality to all buttons.
