Customer's Fault Description
I fitted a new battery to my remote and the display lit up correctly. I put the battery cover back on, turned the remote over and the display was blank. I rechecked the battery connection and noticed there was a black wire that was not connected presumably to the battery terminal.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead due to a faulty battery cable. A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
