Gazco mertik maxitrol g6r h4t5 ga Remote. New battery fitted but battery icon empty and flashing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator.

This was due to a faulty voltage regulator.  A replacement regulator was fitted which restored full functionality.
