Customers Fault Description : Gazco mertik maxitrol g6r h4t5 ga Remote. New battery fitted but battery icon empty and flashing.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator.

This was due to a faulty voltage regulator.  A replacement regulator was fitted which restored full functionality.
