Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Gas fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be transmitting on each channel and also the receiver would respond to the signal on each channel.
A voltage test was carried out on the output and the 6Volts was found to be present (see images).
One of the battery terminals had a blue tint meaning it has suffered a battery leak at some point (battery leaks can cause these receivers to suffer various intermittent issues)
A look at the previous job carried out was found that the remote was repaired due to a faulty US transducer in the handset. The receiver in that case was found to be functioning as normal with no fault found. ( https://remotefixer.co.uk/repair-11435.html )
