REICH Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : REICH
Customers Fault Description : The move control remote isn't turning on anymore. I've changed its batteries, managed to turn it on when I left the camping site but once I got to the caravan storage I couldn't turn it on anymore in order to make my life easier when parking the caravan.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Caravan motor mover remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover was found to be missing ,this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the remote was found to not respond to its double power button press.
This was due to corrosion spots on the edge connector for the button facia. The facia was cut back to bypass the dead spots. This restored full functionality.
