Customer's Fault Description
The remote does not work. The light comes on when the button is pressed, but it doesn't open the garage door. The oscillator inside the remote has one leg broken, which may be the problem
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This TM-27 Remote Comtrol arrived safely and on testing was found to not transmit an RF signal.

This was due to the oscillator being broken, a replacement restored full functionality (see image)
