Remote Fixer Repair Response
This boiler remote control arrived safely and on inspection the batteries were inserted incorrectly.
Unfortunately, when inserted correctly the remote remained dead.
The voltage regulator was found to have blown (probably due to the incorrect battery insertion), once replaced full functionality was restored.
The remote will be returned with the batteries inserted correctly, it is extremely important to make sure to note the orientation when it's time to replace the batteries or the regulator may blow again.
