pressing buttons fails to operate gate
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This electric gate remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to not be transmitting a signal.
On opening the included batteries seem to have suffered damage on both sides of each battery (see image, possibly from a battery leak). The remotes terminals were etched clean and treated to prevent acid damage.
Once replacement batteries were fitted full functionality was restored (see image).
Two Energizer batteries will be supplied fitted on return.
