C & J Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Remote LED comes on, but fire does not respond. Batteries are good in fire, and if I disconnect & connect the battery box, I can hear the mechanism in the fire booting up.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Kinder Kalahari RC gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic functionality.
The signal being sent was tested and found to be garbled. Unfortunately, this is due to the main IC being at fault which makes a repair not possible due to lack of parts.
There is however a replacement clone remote control available from https://remoteshop.co.uk/shop/heater-fireplace-controls/charlon-and-jenrick-remote-control/
As per our sites service details all return postage fees are fixed at £6 - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
