Westin Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Westin
Customers Fault Description : Remote fails to communicate with the extractor. Battery replaced. Unable to select pairing mode as per the YouTube link.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Extractor fan remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal and the code set being transmitted was confirmed to be correct for this model.
The remote was confirmed to not enter pairing mode as mentioned but it's important to note that not all remote of this model do enter pairing mode.
As the remote is transmitting on all buttons this item has been classed as no fault found.
The PCB was found to have "shifted" inside, this is due to a broken PCB mounting pin inside but as the board is working this was not rectified.
