Manufacturer : Dimplex
Customers Fault Description : Spoke with nice chap called Martin a few days back & explained taken remote back to shop Our Mam bought fire from 20 years ago! Seems it is sending a continuous signal & Martin said sounded like it had shorted out! We live in hope you can fix it me dear! xx
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Dimplex remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting without any button being pressed.
This was due to contamination over the button array. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under the buttons.
Full functionality was restored. Clone sent 29th Oct
