John Lewis Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : John Lewis

Customers Fault Description : The cooker hood no longer responds to the remote control. The remote control has a new battery and the lights still come on showing it has power. The cooker hood works fine and I can turn it on manually on the ceiling buttons. But the remote doesn't control it anymore.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote control arrived safely and on inspection the buttons were "upside down" i.e. + was - ... On testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal on each button press (see image).
