No infared signal from remote. LED lights up on remote so battery power ok. Fan brought from B&Q approx. 4 years ago.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Ceiling fan remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a nonfunctioning IR LED. 

The LED was replaced which restored full functionality.
