Changed batteries won’t operate fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Electric fire remote ocntrol arrived safgely and on testing was foudn ot be dead. On opening there was contamination over the button pads (see image). This was cleaned up but the remote remained dead.
Unfortunately after a component test was carried out it was found that the main IC was at fault, this is situated under a large black blob of resin making as repair not possible.

This remote was disposed of as per the customers telephone request, a clone was supplied - 18th Oct 2024
