Celebrity Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Celebrity
Customers Fault Description : Although handset does not have a part number, Celebrity cannot supply a part number, but have tentatively suggested that it is JM42 (TH1-1012 Series). The chair is a 'Manhattan', dual motor recliner riser, Batch No: 329183-001/F 648R1GTM. All buttons seem to work intermittently, and if there is a dual action, such as a reset to the footrest + back, only one is actioned. The fault may be one of the core cables as when the cable is moved when handling, the fault briefly disappears.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This recliner remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a badly damaged cable. A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then the rest of the remote was tested as ok.
