This Cambridge audio remote control arrived safely and on initial testing was found to be transmitting on all buttons as per normal operation but after a few second the remote would die.

On opening the PCB has a minimal component count. A component test was carried out but no readable issue could be replicated.

When the batteries are removed and refitted the remote seems to start up and work for a few seconds and then dies.  This is due to the main IC being at fault which sadly makes a repair not possible. 

This remote was disposed of as per the customers email request 20th Dec 2024
