BSSB Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Keep replacing batteries go flat very quickly red light always comes on
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely, unfortunately the customer didn't pay adequate postage, so a fine was paid to receive the item (we normally refuse items that are underpaid without paying a fine).
On testing the remote was found to function as normal. The customers batteries were fully charged on arrival but our own batteries were fitted and tested over 1 week with no battery draw found at all.
The battery symbol does illuminate but this doesn't seem to effect functionality nor is it a true indicator of the battery draw.
