Customer's Fault Description
Not working. I think it is the battery compartment, it may need some new springs but I am not sure. It sometimes flashes but it no longer lights up even with new batteries.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This thermostat remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have in intermittent display.
On opening there was signs of a battery leak over the PCB (see images). The print was treated and then the voltage regulator replaced which restored full functionality.
