Have changed batteries but still does not work

This Electric Fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have no response from the buttons.

When opened this was found to be due to contaminated contacts from decomposing buttons.  The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons.

Full functionality was restored.
