Buttons not working corroded battery terminal

This Remote control for a golf trolley arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

On opening a terminal pair was found to be rusted, this was replaced which restored partial functionality.  3 Buttons were then found to be open circuit. The buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
