This fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection the LED was bent inside the case, this was repositioned correctly and then the remote was tested.
The remote was found to be transmitting on each button press as per normal operation.
This item was found to be fully functioning. The customer is to try to pair the remote with the heater. This is done by turning the dial on the back one click at a time testing each button on each turn until it effects the heater. If you dial goes a full 360 degrees, it may be a fault with the receiver itself. Also remember to test with a brand new battery to eliminate an issue with the battery in the handset.
