Customer's Fault Description
LCD no longer lighting up.Wires have come off before and I managed to repair these by soldering back onto board however this time it is not working and when I attach the 9V battery it heats up ( a lot)
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have scuff marks all around the edge of the remote which is a sign of prior opening before the item arrived with us.
On testing the remote was found to be dead. When opening the battery cable was found to be short circuit. A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality (see image)
